Genetically modified food has been in the news a lot in the past couple of years.Also called GM food, these types of substances are hybrid’s that were modified at the molecular level before being consumed. Typically, it’s crops that were created by humans in a lab by using various biology techniques, scary!
Traditionally, new crops would be made through breeding, but that can be time consuming, and there’s no guarantee that the result will be what you want.
