Vaccines have been a part of our lives for what seems like an eternity. Hepatitis B, tetanus and measles… just some of the several vaccinations that all children are required to have as they grow up. Most recently, we were all advised to get the H1N1 vaccine to guard against the deadly swine flu. This begs the question, just how effective are vaccines in general in protecting us against disease?
