Wealth

Abundance means something different to every individual.
Don’t stop focusing on your own personal vision, and join others who share the same focus as you do. All you need to do in order to see results is unlock the power within you, and you can turn your dreams into reality. You need to determine what you want out of your life so that you can visualize and focus on it.
Your state of mind and your physical health are all linked to your ability to attract wealth into your life. In order to change your circumstances, you must change your mind! Having wealth offers less fear and anxiety giving us one less thing to worry about, it doesn’t guarantee us happiness but it sure does ease our daily burdens. Scientific studies have shown people with wealth have a healthier epigenome. They are healthier at a epigenetic or gene level and with lower stress levels, our bodies work more efficiently and naturally.
I want to share my personal story as I’m sure a lot of you are in a position I was just two years ago or could find yourself as a result of our continued economic struggles. I worked in the Footwear Industry for fortune 500 companies for 23 years and for 15 of those years I was a corporate executive earning well over six figures.
When I lost my job for the first time in my career in fall of 2008 due to the economic downturn and a corporate downsizing, it really caused me to take a hard look at my future.
Although my salary afforded us a very nice lifestyle for many years and an IRA that was growing nicely that is until fall of 2008 when we lost 55% of its value, I found that I wasn’t close to accumulating the wealth I was going to need to provide the lifestyle we had become accustomed to in looking at retirement! It was a real awakening, a shocking reality. If I were to have jumped back into the “corporate life” and get on that hamster wheel of working 50 plus hours a week and working most Saturday’s playing catch up from traveling and getting ready for the next week, I know that I never would have developed the wealth I would need for retirement.
I’m actually very grateful that I lost my job in the fall of 2008, it taught me a lot of valuable lessons and afforded me the “time” to open my mind and see all the other opportunities there were in the world that could create wealth for me and my family. And, not only create wealth but also learn how to protect it and grow it safely and securely.
I also learned a valuable lesson from Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, he showed me in a very profound way that I was working in the wrong quadrant for 23 years. There are 4 quadrants, two of the four on the left hand side of his diagram which represents employee’s and the self-employed. I was an employee for 23 years and fell on this left hand side. The other two quadrants fell on the right hand side, and they are the business owners and investors. The biggest take away here for everyone to understand is 95% of all the wealth in the US comes from the right hand side or the business owners and investors.
I now find myself as a result of researching and educating myself on the right hand side in the business owner quadrant and my future looks very bright as I’m building wealth for the first time in my life.
And, it’s not just wealth for my wife and I, but generational wealth for our daughter and my daughter’s kids as well.
I want to share with you two of those vehicles I’ve used to get on this wonderful road to wealth. I believe you will find them as enlightening and powerful as I have and my hope is that you put them to good use.
